i have tapped its leg as described in a few threads here (put them in a normal position then using band aids taped them together with a gap in between)

but its been a fair few hours and the poor bugger is just rolling around with both legs stretched out backwards now. i sit him up, tuck his legs back forward, he hops a bit them tumbles and flails about. i cant sit with him all day to hold him up

will he get the hang of it or could it be time to think of culling? everytime he falls and his legs flail backwards, he ends up on his back (which i read could kill him) and the others are pecking his bandages feet

not sure what else i can do?

Hi. I was reading a recent post that said to put the chick in a cup or yogurt container with shelf liner in the bottom. It worked for that person that was needing help.

It's possible the legs will straighten out if he can get food and water and get his strength up. Lots of folks on here would cull, though. Good luck.

he didnt look to good so i've just culled the poor little thing..it seemed the nicest thing to do. the others were pecking at his eyes, toes, whatever they could reach and he was trying to get away but just couldnt. he looked like he was gasping and breathing very strangly so i thought it was best to do before he suffered anymore
