splayed leg on golden phesant

help! I have a 9week old golden phesant chick that hatched with a splayed leg which i treated with the hobble straps, with good results. now in the last week the same leg has splayed again tried to put hobble straps on again but the chick goes mad and panics and wont stand up with it on and pushes the leg back further.

can anyone help with me with this problem.

You need to leave them on for a week when you put them on. I did that with a chick and have not had a recurrence of it.
