I noticed last night that one of our 20 week old EE has a split beak . Her upper beak has a split right down the center of it. She can eat fine. Should we be worried it will get worse? Will it grow out? I have a feelign it happended when she was chased by the other hens. We don't call her Skitz for nothing LOL.

Beaks will grow and grow back from trauma. For a scare, google some of the beaking* practices used by the poultry industry in USA and UK. :: shudder ::. With that said, I would recommend using a beauty product designed for split nails. I would use it higher-up on the beak. Apply very carefully and sparingly, to avoid getting it in its nose, mouth, or eyes. make sure it's fully dry before letting the chicken run off. This should help strengthen the split area and help encourage growth. I would also recommend maybe adding a little powdered gelatin to the feed to help boost collagen to help heal/rebuild the beak.
