spoiled ducks 😂

anyone else have extremely spoiled ducks? every night i make them a veggie + bug salad, crushed egg shells for my girls, mix food + grit, and chop them up some fruit

Mine have moved onto their forever farm but the 9 weeks I had my fosters they got spoiled to death.

They got bundled up on the daybed after swimmies

they got to pick their own lunch from their private rooftop pool and swim-up snack bar (when they werent being hand-fed peas, berries, meticulously diced tomatoes and watermelon and bananas and grapes or flower petals I'd given up on the idea of saving once they got tall enough to reach them)


they always had a laundry pile to rifle around and sleep in


they popped two inflatables and got an upgraded big pool to do zoomies in



They got lots of books (to nibble on...they didnt really wanna read)



And as many couch cuddles as they'd let me

Mine are incredibly spoiled.
Fed lettuce and blueberries and grapes and tomato’s and peas (of course) every morning and lettuce and mealworms and flower petals in their water jugs at night - anything that’ll float.

I let my ducks come into the house. They just want to hang out - I feel bad forcing them outside like common barnyard animals or something

Looks like you made some amazing and unique experiences for them and you - and I bet your pics help to perk up your day.

I am five years in with ducks and am still surprised at how much character / opinion they have / don't mind sharing.

I really hope to have some more one day, they were a big surprise for me. Unfortunately I'm not ready to move out of the city just yet (and I travel too much to always have a sitter) so itll be some time, but eventually I'll probably want to move back into the country and settle down. And then become a crazy duck lady

I like the color. It can get pretty bland (color-wise) with just green lettuce and brown mealworms
