I have a question for those of you with GQF sportsman incubators. It says they have a hatching tray at the bottom. Can you have staggered hatches and use the hatching tray? If so, how is the humidity adjusted for the hatch? Is the hatch tray area higher in humidity? It does'nt seem like you can use them at the same time because of the need for higher humidity at lockdown.

Just raise humidity for each hatch.I have set once a week and get good results.I have done this for years.

i set weekly hatches in my sportsman incubator, i have kept the humidity at 30%, raising it to 50-60% for days 18-21 of each batch (on which days i also have the eggs in the "hatch" tray at the bottom). I have done this since last spring with good results

I keep my Sportsmans at 40-50 humidity for the first 18 days , then for day 19 thru hatch i raise it to 60 humidity .After hatch i let return back to 40-50 humidity til next set of eggs are on day 19 and repeat

I have really excellant hatches this way !
