Sportsman turner

I have an old Sportsman cabinet incubator with the automatic turner. It turns all the time - and it does it much faster than my tabletop incubators (which can't even be noticed). Back and forth, back and forth. Is this normal? Is there a way to adjust the turner so that it moves more gradually? It can't be good for the eggs to be doing this. Many thanks for any and all help!

Sounds like the switch may be stuck in the manual position. Toggle switch should have 3 settings ( auto , off, hold for manual). I believe this type turns every 2 hours and goes from one position to the next then tests for 2 hours.....
If the switch is in the right position then it could be a number of other things ( bad micro switches or shorted wire)
