Sprained Tendon in Chick, Vets Can't Help

Is this the one with funny feet? If so, wait 24 hours from when it hatched and see if it fixes itself. If not, maybe try taping it's toes like this:

I find that usually the freshly hatched chicks feet will correct themselves with in the first day or so...hopefully this chick's feet are better this morning.

How are things?

Hello! Sorry it's been a while. I've been super busy as school just started for me.
We couldn't get Nova's tendon back in place so we took her to a vet. The tendon didn't have a place to be set back in (meaning she was actually hatched having a slipped tendon) and he did a suture so when the scar tissue formed it would hold the tendon in place. It didn't work as the other tendon was too strong and the slipped tendon moved back to it's original wrong place. As of right now we can't do anything else for her tendon as it's a bit too developed but we're not giving up and neither is she. She's eating and drinking and uses her limited flying abilities to get around and play with her new best friend, Poppy. Poppy just so happened to have what we thought was a clubbed foot, but it turns out her feet uncurled just fine after an hour out of the incubator. She and Nova are best friends and help each other out. My neighbor who I am very close to is working on a prosthetic for Nova's leg since she uses the hutch part of her leg to wobble on (like a pirate leg). Her life may not be as long but we're planning to make it the best one it can be for her.
