I have been to 3 TSC in my area and am very disappointed in the selection that was there. I had to order online but I am still looking for Welsummers and Black Sumatras.

hi everyone! my mutt egg under a broody started pipping today, but it's almost 4 days early! i'll post pics as soon as it hatches.

we'll also be getting some chicks from mypetchicken in july

I am WAY too tempted to get more chicks from TSC. I would get more, but I have always had issues with adding more chicks to a brood

Why oh why? I already have 25 assorted hen chicks coming the beginning of April, yet I just had to grab some chicks from TSC. I swear you could place a batch of day old rooster chicks in front of me and I'd buy them. Fluff is so hard to resist!

If they're pretty close in age range they should def be fine. I have a mixture of chicks from a few days old to a few weeks. They all get along just fine.

Well my girls are entering an ugly phase. They're getting their wing feathers in, most of the wing is done. Now they're starting on their backs, and the partially feathered in look is not the most fashionable.

Well, we are thinking of trading some scraps from my dad's shop for this shed http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/bar/2246275364.html
It is 12x12, and already insulated. The only thing I would add is linoleum flooring, and some windows.

Do you guys think this will serve well as a coop?

Just shipped off 72 hatching eggs this morning, I felt like I was sending off my children!

I hope the P.O. is very gentle with them!

I have some Splash/Blue Orpington Project eggs coming...they lay Olive Green eggs so this should be interesting!!

I'm trying very hard not to bid on other eggs..but I'm fixing to give in!

HELP ME!!!
