In front of wood stove keeping warm.
This will be our first spring cleaning. Does any one have good ideas or things to avoid. My plan is to spray and scrub with bleach, but I have done some reading on Oxine? Is anyone familiar with this? Is it appropriate for a deep spring scrub down? Any ideas to be thorough and safe would be helpful.

You have a deep litter going...with what kind of bedding.....on a wood floor....that's been maintained how?
More info might help, I'm curious too.

I have been using pine shavings but am thinking about switching coarse sand this spring after the cleaning. I guess my main question is the type of solution for cleaning. I am unsure what to use to disinfect my coop that is effective but not too toxic. It is all non-pressure treated wood, I have heard to use bleach but some say vinegar and then I saw this thread about the use of a product called Oxine.
