So here is my chicken story. All through out growing up we would randomly have laying hens and would raise meat chickens for 4-H and I always hated them. Now this past winter I decided I wanted chickens and let me tell ya it was an amazing decision. I started out with 5 isa Brown's and added 3 more from Christmas presents. Unfortunately my favorite died unexpectedly :( but when spring hit I had no idea just how many I would want. I ended up buying 30 meat chickens and 30 more pullets! I now have 2 roosters one who is full grown and one just a baby yet. And I've begun incubating eggs for friends now. Thank you back yard chicken community for being so helpful in all of this excitement. Here's a few pictures of the chickens.
