This is not meant to be a copy of any of the current herds/bands. If you feel like it is, please let me know and I'll have it taken down or we'll figure something out.
Rules
* All BYC rules apply.
* No hard core cussing.
* Keep real arguing/personal problems out of this. I would prefer it if we kept this thread fun for everyone.
* Be realistic. A horse cannot die in one blow and a foal cannot kill a full grown stallion, for instance.
* When fighting, you can only attack with one blow per post.
* Try your best to keep this PG, maybe even PG-13 at the most. Keep the really graphic stuff out.
* Do not RP without a form. It is hard to keep track of your characters.
* If I allow you to have a human in the village, I still want you to focus on the ponies. Humans are not our main focus on this thread.
* If you want a pony in the herd it may only be a Shetland pony. It would not be realistic to have a Suffolk Punch, Arabian, or so forth suddenly walk in as those horses are not native to the land and not often used there.

Lead Stallion
Name: Suibhne
Gender: Male
Rank: Lead Stallion
Appearance: Like all Shetland ponies, he's small, stocky bodied with stubby legs. His coat is a rich chestnut with a long flaxen mane and tail, his forelock so long his chocolate brown eyes are rarely seen. Several strands of his mane are slightly darker than the other usual blonde tones, while at all four of his lower legs are a lighter tone with shaggy fur hanging off by his tiny hooves.
Personality: Protective of his band, ever since he had inherited it from his dying father. Suibhne is very kind-hearted and would never hurt anyone unless he finds them destructive of SpringBand.
Family: He has a younger sister who is a rogue and a few foals, but that is about it. His mate is Lucy.
Other: Very strong, and about seven years old or so. Aside from their children, he does not like humans.

Appearance: Lucy is an average sized shetland. She is mostly a creamy white color with large black spots, in some places. Her mane and tail are both half black and half white. Her eyes are a light brown in color.
Personality: Friendly and bubbly to all she meets. She is very protective of the band. Very bold and courageous.
Family: Mate - Suibhne. Parents are Unknown.
Other: Not at all afraid of humans.

She is almost taller than a Shetland should be but is barely under the size. She is very soft and always smells of sweet wild rasberrys.
Personality: She is Sweet, Kind-Hearted, Cunning, and Friendly.

Other: She is very strong and sweet smelling, and is very pretty.

Personality: Very wise, often making the correct desicions. Well trusted within the band and has been there far longer than most.
Family: Several foals, including Haydynn.
Other: An older mare, about 24 or s and used to be the lead mare. Heidi loves to see SpringBand thrive.

Appearence: His coat is a dark grey, and somewhat fine compared to other Shetland ponies. His mane is short now, but very fluffy. Lawrences bones are finer, giving him more of a "horse" look than a pony. He has adorable large, innocent brown eyes, and petite bone colored hooves.
Personality: Very sweet and gentle, yet he loves adventuring.
History: Lawrence, seeking adventure, venture away from his Mother one day. A terrible storm blew over, and he got separated from his parents.
Other: Longs to find his Mother and Father. He watches the forest where he came from every night in case his parents arrive to find him, but usually falls asleep.

Appearance: Her coat is a solid creamy white. Lucy short Mohawk like mane has a few strands of a golden tone to it, as does her tail. Her eyes would be a warm welcoming blue, but are made cloudy by her being blind.
Personality: Sweet, but very defiant. She can be a hot head if you get her mad.
Family: Dam - Uknown. Sire - Uknown.
Other: She was thrown out by her herd for being a 'weakling' because she is blind.
