Sorry Seth. But, there wasn't anything you could have done. They have to be strong enough to at least pip their shell in my opinion. If they can't even pip their shell, they aren't strong enough to survive.
Go chickies go!!!!!I just put 27 eggs in our incubator!! This is only our second hatch and we made modifications to the incubator - added a fan this year. Fingers crossed this doesn't go wrong, though at least I don't have any money invested in this hatch. Still I want lots of chickies to hatch!
