Another one is pipped !!! I was going to candle them last night to see if they were no gos , but i got sidetracked and this morning one is pipped fingers crossed

Well, I have the candling results on my 10 Icelandic eggs (day 7). 3 showed vein development, 2 had blood rings, 1 I couldn't tell yet and the remainder are clear. I'm leaving everything as it is since this is my first time incubating chickens and I'm still learning to interpret the candling results. I figure that it should be a little more obvious on day 10. Does that sound appropriate?

Oh and Banty, shame on you. Now I'm thinking about trying to get a couple of Rouen ducks for my pond... My poor wife is surely going to run off screaming any day now! I'm going to put the blame squarely on you for all the pictures of ducklings.
