So you think it is cocci?

Nic I need more than coffee today, omg I am so tired!!! thinking about taking Excedrin max just for straight caffeine!!!
That's about how I feel today too. Just dragging butt. It took me forever just to make the coffee, and even longer to get my chores done this morning. Maybe a coffee IV........

you have 95 degree in ONE CORNER of the brooder only? Anything else can cause HEAT OR COLD Stress and kill them
Huddling, gathering close to each other and peeping loudly indicate cold distress, while open wings and beaks and panting are typical symptoms of overheating. When chilled, the feet get cold first, which can be ‘tested' by touching ‘chick to cheek’. Pic of my Brooder and talk, wax paper between papertowel layers for simple roll up see begin pic post #3543

I know that feeling too. The last time I had to have blood drawn, they went all up and down my arms, all over the back of my hands, and tried to go to other places. It looked like someone had severely beaten me when I finally got to leave. And then I had to go to work like that too!!!!! One lady was like, "sweetie, no man is worth all that."

yeezus what did you do with it?

I eliminated the problem. That one was about 4 1/2 ft. A night or to later I got a solid 6 footer climbing up to the roost.
I just moved a couple of weeks ago and have found several skins laying around that suggest more than one that is over 5 foot at the new house. Ceramic eggs and light bulbs are in the nest boxes.
