Hope you feel better soon darling.

I'm joining!  I'm going to set some black penedesenca eggs.  Hopefully with better luck than the Easter Hal...   None of those hatched but 2 had full sized chicks, they just never pipped or hatched.  I also had 2 or 3 that were real early quitters.. I am going to attempt using a scale to keep track of weight loss this time.  I'm not setting them until next week at the earliest.

Only 2 of mine hatched also for the EHAL. I weighed them and everything :( I ordered a new incubator for this HAL so hopefully it goes better this time.

OK, start the timer. I set my Icelandic eggs this morning. I ordered 8 and she sent 12

. Two broke during shipping. One of the eggs didn't have a rounded end. Both ends looked the same. I candled it and didn't see a air sac. I went ahead and set it also but I'm not feeling good about that one. Now, we wait....and wait....and wait....(Can you tell that I'm impatient?)

@Sally Sunshine
Here is my day 7 air cells on the serama eggs. It looks like some lost quite a bit, while others...not so much.
What do you think? Should I adjust the humidity at this point? Thanks.

I said I would post a photo of my dream and hope to get bantam cochin in these eggs..well, had to throw a lot out. Had a lot that has that fluid floating look on top of the egg. Put them in for 5 days just in case a miracle happened. Not.

Now, there are little ones developing in some with air sacs like I have never seen before! Serious. I've had some bad ones before, but this is ridiculous. One side on a few are almost completely all the way to the tip on one side, and half way up on the other. Pretty sure those will be quitting, no room in there for them to grow. I do have a few that may just make it. Here is a photo of one of her birds that I would love to get. The blue..I had said splash, but I think it's a mottled. The little black girl is cute too, I've had a black bantam cochin before. She was a great mom. She looks like my Fanny. I want a blue mottled now!

You're closer than I am! My oldest 4 eggs are on day 31. The second 4 I set are on day 19 (I think, I'd have to check my notes :/ ). Have you seen any wiggling from yours?

I *think* I saw some wiggling or movement from 2 or 3 of my four eggs, just not the biggest 700g egg. It is subtle and sometimes I can't tell if my eyes are playing tricks on me. I am weighing them weekly and weight loss is good. They are the only eggs I have ever had that started to loose too much moisture so I put them in their own incubator.

You should be close to seeing movement in yours, right? What temp are yours at? From what I read, mine could take 55 or more days because they are at the lower temp. What a fun and weird incubating experience.
