"Springing in the Chicks" 2016 April Hatch-a-Long Hosted by Mike & Sally

Also, the shelving material I placed on the screen is porous, but not as porous as the screen itself so that may be slowing it down some as well.

That looks pretty dense to me...

Yes that might be slowing it down a little. I use this one, slightly different and is more porous.

A whole lot of I wish it was already Friday. There's always trouble in the hood. Your new construction's lookin' good. How's the barbiebatoring?
Great... keep up the good work!

Rain's holding me up today, so there won't be any progress for a day or two. Oh well, I have over 1 1/2 months to get 'er done.

As before, it's performing in true Barbie fashion... beautifully!!!

Looked at a close up. Not exactly the same stuff I'm using. What I'm using is a "tight" network (tighter than the screen in the 'bator but not as tight as the one I linked to).
That sounds good. If the mesh holes in the bator are less than 1/4", it should be fine without the liner. You just don't want the holes to be big enough for the chicks to catch their hocks in and mess their legs up. Just thought I'd throw that in...
