I want a lavender orp pullet so bad.  I tried for them on this hatch & with my first hatch last fall but all cockerels both times. Grrrr!

I hope you can get some. Cochins are amazing! You will love them, they are super cute and beautiful. I love mines personalities. I know a hatchery that sell those breeds and ship all over the country if you'd like they are called chickensforbackyards hatchery. They are not that popular but they are really good. I got all of my birds from them.
Yes! I will hopefully be getting some molted Cochin bantams from mypetchicken hatchery this summer or next year. I just wish they had the splash. They are! Sadly our only EE bantam is a cockerl and we aren't sure yet if we are keeping it. Little stinker, he had to choose to be a boy.

I found a mottled pullet today at a feed store! It will be dark, but oh well..and, I got a white. Had a couple of whites before, from this bad batch I was telling you about. I had a white before..they are beautiful. I don't think this one will turn out as well as my last white I had a couple of yrs. back, but we'll see. I got a splash last week from another feed store. Actually two, one is light, and one is a blue. Will be fun to see these grow out, they all have great leg feathering, except the white..not as much as the others.

All of those eggs that I am doing for the friend are in lock down. Orpington's. And a couple of Barnie's..and a couple of Biefelder's..spelling? Any way, Blues..and Jubilee's, and red cc's. Still not quite sure what the cc is for..cuckoo? Red cuckoo's are pretty. One of those already has an internal pip..I hear chirping in there.

Hey...what's up? I have too many too, this friend of mine is taking his home! Thank goodness. I may keep a blue, or a Jubilee..or a red cc...lol...if I can only decide. He said I could keep what I wanted. Oh dear. :/
