Ok guys. Watch out for cracked eggs. I started incubating 3 days ago and there was a terrible smell today. Cracked one leaked out and stunk it up. I quickly took the eggs out and laid them on a towel then cleaned up. Smells better and eggs in the incubator again.
I did a quick candle to see if there were any more cracked and I SEE DEVELOPMENT in most!!!
The very reason that I candle before putting them in the bator. The tiny cracks that your eye can miss glow and you can see and paint them with polish if you still want to incubate them. I had 2 out of 9 coturnix quail eggs that were cracked and painted hatch this last time.
