This morning I woke up to my incubator unplugged. I don't know how it happened or how long it had been unplugged. Has anyone had this happen to them and have any of the eggs hatch?

time will tell, I had mine drop 68 over an entire night and did have a few losses, it was the serama littles that got hit though.

My eggciting lockdown picture. Just waiting for Sunday and practicing uploading pictures! 7 guinea eggs, all looking good. I take the pictures mostly to document the dates things happen. Helpful when trying to remember what you did the prior year.

I have tried to click the link to the shoulder photo contest but can't find it. Help

The contests have not started yet. We are working on them.

Our broody hen has kicked 2 eggs out of the nest. One yesterday and one today.

I candled the one I found today and it had great veins and I could see the chick but It was not moving, only swishing around when I rotated the egg.

I always trust my broody hens.

First Hatch

3 Clears
7 DIS (1 zipped 3/4 then went toward small end and suffocated)
10 Hatched

Under Broody

3 DIS (3/4 zipped)
1 Hatched

Second Hatch (hatches 3 days apart)

3 Early Quitters
1 DIS
8 Hatched

I did eggtopsies and there was a lot of fluid in the eggs (so even though I thought they had adequate moisture loss I'm assuming I didn't)
Thoughts?

I think this is a horrible average.

I am out. My incubator ran away yesterday and cooked the eggs, quail, OE's and SFH. I am going to take a break. I think I will save up money for a new incubator before I hatch again. I don't even have any tears, just numb. My washing machine decided to flood the kitchen too. Bad day for appliances. The only bright spot is that my Bantam Wyandotte girl started laying, a beautiful pale pink egg.
