My DD dressed this chick in barbie clothes lol. Poor thing!

LOL!!!

Out of the 26 eggs that I started out with, only 15 are alive. 4 aren't fertile (ohiki) and 7 died (1 Marans and 6 Brahma) I am blaming myself for their death because the incubator got unplugged for a night (I still have no idea how). But, what's really bumming me out is that all my shipped Brahma eggs are dead!!!

Hatch update- Broody Number one hatched 5 of 6 silkies Broody number two hatched 4 of 5 silkies Broody number 3 is sitting on 7 silkies one is pipped e Both incubators on lockdown as of this morning- 8 silkies,5-german bielefelder,12 barred rock,6 lav orphingtons -SO EGGCITED- cant wait!

The bucklings are ~14 weeks. Mama is a few years. Her name is Roxie, but I might rename her.

Mike, does she look bred to you? DH isn't convinced so I said I'd get some opinions. She's supposed to kid sometime in May. Her bag is empty but she's grumpy, hungry, and lays down a lot. That's proof enough for me!

Guys. I've got it bad. I dreamed that I was kidnapped and the person who took me had HUNDREDS of chicks that he needed someone to care for. That's why he kidnapped me. To care for his new chicks, his rabbits, horses and other assorted animals.
