Hello. Completely new to chicken keeping. I got 23 hens from my mom late last fall, 10 of which remain and an easter egg rooster from a neighbor. I currently have a batch of 30 eggs; first internal pip happened today. I heard it half an hour ago! I was worried as today is day 21 and on day 18 the bator dropped below 90. Fingers crossed. I thought i lost them all on the 18th day.

My hatch is over...15 out of 27 set. 16 went into lockdown but 1 died because it pipped on the underside of the egg and couldn't get air I'm happy with the 15 I have though. I would post a pic but the website isn't uploading for me. Hopefully tomorrow.
