Just thought I'd share some pics from my flock's fun in the sun day in the yard

Carmella - soon to be momma! I put of her eggs in my bator for a test hatch and saw a little one swimming around when I candled today

Thanks! I hatched him out last year and was really surprised by the copper. I wasn't planning on keeping a roo but I couldn't give up such a handsome fellow. Hopefully he gets to stick around - he's started trying to flog me once in awhile when they're free ranging

So far I've been able to enforce my authority and it's not too bad but if he gets outta hand it's the soup pot for him! LOL

They're very tame... Cuz they know who brings them the treats

My Marans are less tame because I didn't handle them quite as much when they were babies but they still come running when they see me. My "special" chicken Eggie is by far the sweetest (which is good cuz I think she's laid approximately 3 eggs in the year I've had her). She LOVES to snuggle AND she's a total camera hog, as you can see in picture one

Looks good and the weather has been wonderful...

The weather here has been AMAZING this week! I love it!​
