Spur buds??

I was checking our glut of chicks today and noticed little buds where the spurs would grow. Are these only on boys or do girls have them too?

Either sex can have spur bumps.

Well, rats..I was thinking we would have a chance of figuring out the boys from the girls. Though with so many having bumps it would have us swimming in roos!
