Spurs

my silver lakenvelder hen has huge spurs. None of my other hens have had big spurs only stumps. is it just the breed?

My 21 month old Welsummer hen Myrtle has spurs three-quarter inch long, and they appear to still be growing. No telling how long they'll get. None of her other four sisters have them. She's an excellent layer, by the way.
