i am sorry to all the people it concerns as we had alot of bad weather latelty and alot of very high winds no tornadoes but we did lose almost all of our

poultry i just feel really badly aand dont know if i can start again because this was my job not my second job but my major source of income if you have

any questions feel free to ask and i appreciate all that were concerned its amazing to have a backyard chicken family even if my backyard doesnt have

chickens anymore

Thanks! These White Orp Bantam eggs arrived today with a box corner slightly damaged. Thanks to the Octagon egg carton and lost of packing material, the eggs were safe! East coast to Arkansas and no eggs broken!

Another box was not so lucky. They came from the west cost. It was lightly packed in a dozen long egg carton and a Priority mail shoebox. The entire end was caved in and 3 of 12 eggs were broken. Had to wash the eggs to clean the yuck off of them.

Folks, we should really pack these swap eggs well. We may not be able to control the Post Office, but they more packing around the actual egg, the better they will ride. However, not even the best pack job can save some from damage.

Now hoping for a great hatch!

well i have repaired most of my cages already the biggest problem was after the breeders got out losing them to predators before being able to catch them up. i thank all of you willing to help me it to totally surprised me and shows me there still alot of good and amazing people out there and i thasnk you all again for helping in my time of need

We had some fox losses this season. Our livestock guardian dogs are now fully trained on poultry and goats. Sadie had to get old enough to no longer play with chickens etc.

We have restarted our Lemon Cuckoo Orpingtons with new blood and did hatch a few of our own eggs before the losses.
