Square feet per chicken in Coop only

I guess it depends on your goals and sensibilities. That many birds in that space(1.32 sqft per bird) is factory farm spacing, most of us here are trying to avoid those types of conditions....so you're not going to find much support here for that.
I wasnt looking for support. Just asking how many chickens do people on this forum think a coop with 144 square feet can House Summer and winter.

Thank you tho ...

Does your coop plan include an open area underneath where they can scratch around in the dirt? This would double your available square footage and might be a good thing to consider. Chickens love to dust bath and scratch in the dirt...
It will more than likely have a 12x11 run and 12X11 coop I was thinking 15-20 chickens. Do you think that’s too many ?

I believe you should be able to do 15 to 20 without to much of a problem, standard recommendation is 4 sq ft per chicken in the coop and 10 sq ft in a run.. I have a 8 x 24 and based on the standard recommended spacing I can have 48 chickens in it.

8 X 24 how much is coop and how much is run ?
the coop is 192 sq ft. and the run is technically 3 runs together, I started with a 10 x 10 coop and a run that was the same size, then added a extension to the run, when the new coop was built, we added more to the run, it's 865 sq ft total. Right now the new coop is holding 16 hens, 2 roo's and 9 chicks (pullets) the pullets are going to be set free out of the grow out pen either today or tomorrow.

This is a shot of the finished coop, it will not win prettiest coop, but it works for me, inside there are 6 nest boxes attached to the wall about 3 ft up from the floor, then at the far end as you can see from the reply above has 6 roost bars that are at least 7.5 ft across. I am going to have to guess that the roost covers a floor space of about 6 ft. it has sand below it for easier clean up, then we have tile for the rest (cheap sticky tiles) 2 hanging feeders that allow plenty of room for everyone to get in there. the picture below the coop (barn red) is a picture of the run extension and the old coop along with a tractor supply coop that I use for a hospital. Sir Poops a Lot, (little guy on the bottom rung) was in there for a while recovering from a friends flock attacking him, had to let him grow his feathers back and wounds heal.
