How long after they start to squatt do you normally get the first egg, My 27 and half week old girl squatting over 2 weeks now but still no eggs! I have checked to make sure she is not hiding them!

Do you mean maybe 1 day or 2?? Just cant wait any longer!!

Honestly, there was a week or two gap for me between the first squat and the first egg. It was AGONY. You'll get there. Just keep repeating: "Eggs are on the way...Eggs are on the way..."

I've only noted 1 week wait time.

Have you noticed any other egg-laying behaviour other than squatting? Mine usually scout out the nest box the day before, and make loud clucking noises (while going back and forth to the coop)

They have been going on about their business as normal, except they are alot louder! No going in and out of nexting boxes or anything!!

I know I"m no help, but just wanted to let you know I'm in the same boat! Mine started squatting a week or so ago, and I'm dying for some eggs!

Noticed a batch of young pullets squatting and so forth a week ago. So, I put opened their nesting box on the floor of their pen. Look what happened today!!

This is absolutely for moral support. No rubbing it in intended, whatsoever.
