Omg! Some crazy $#!+ just happened to us outside. This rabid-looking squirrel that we been trying to catch to get rid of for the past few months suddenly emerged from a branch on our silver maple tree in the darkness by our fire about to pranch on us while we were cooking and we literally just killed him with a grilling fork

Bag it. Refrigerate it. Report it to fish and wildlife. Grey squirrels aren’t so much nocturnal, and definitely shouldn’t be approaching humans with aggression at night.

This one has a f'd up tail and behaved like it had rabies

Yes! They are digging holes all over my yard! I think they are bringing fleas into my yard also. I am going to stage war against them

That explains the wooden egg that I found in their run because there is no way that my chickens could’ve carried it out of the coop.

This was a black squirrel native to Iowa, which are illegal to catch or kill but are truly wrecking havoc this year...I will be sure to save, tag and bag him for our local Fish/Wildlife examiner! Freaky!

I've been at war with them since last winter. They started it by plotting an ambush against me and the chickens!
