9 week old SS. Comb has been big and pink like this sense it was little. Anyone able to guess if it's a boy or girl? It's comb is so big but not red, very pink though.

I think they said it was 9 wks. At nine weeks with a comb like that, I'm leaning towards cockerel

Yes, 9 weeks old. Darn! This one is so nice I was really hoping for a pullet.

Renn, do you still have your SS? I was in the same situation- ppl all said cockerel based on a pic. But I just had mine DNA tested (long story, but I had 2 chicks I thought were Roos and I had a $40 scratch lottery winner so thought what the heck) so on the 2 I thought were Roos, both came back as females. This was an accurate blood test. But anyway, I posted a bunch of pictures earlier, today, and I see similarities of mine to yours. I'm no expert, so I'm not going to say yours is a pullet, but I wouldn't jump the gun and rehome until you're 100% sure

It could still be a girl I heard that you can't always tell by the comb

Thanks for the reply! I will be so happy if it's a pullet! It's comb is huge and wattles are defienetly big but still very light pink and not red so I'm holding out hope lol! We were supposed to have 2 SS to have a better chance of getting a pullet but somehow the second one got sold and just 1 was left. Crossing my fingers for a pullet!

Here's some updates pictures

Another sign besides the comb is the saddle feathers towards the tail. They look like their pointy with a shine to them. Boy characteristic.
