I have had Chickens for about a year now. My first two were older when I got them and both past this spring from illness. That was tough. I started again...I currently have 2 blue (no clue) from an auction. Two red sex links a friend gave me. My cousin gave me a banty leghorn roo and then my other cousin gave me a pair of silkies (hen and roo). so 7 for now. I am hoping to get a wyndotte in the spring if I am lucky. Looking forward to learning lots and exploring some new breeds to consider. My husband, two dogs and 1 cat can only eat so many eggs but I love watching and interacting with the chicks. They free range all day and roost up in the coop every night. Thanks for letting me join your community.
