Stacking eggs on top of eachother?

I found out the hard way not to stack them in the hatcher. I had way to many eggs in the hatching tray. The chicks on the bottom couldnt force their way out of the eggs. I ended up with way more than usual deformed chicks and pip then dieing cases in that hatch. I'll not do it again. My hatch rate went way down to 25% where I normally get 88+% in that same bator.

Hi! It should be fairly easy to measure air temp and see what the temperature will be for the eggs you'll have in the top layer.
Even in my incubator w/ fan, there is a temp difference every couple of inches up or down.
