Been following BYC forum since picking up my (6) Barred Rock hens May 1. The girls are out of the basement and into a larger brooder made from a very sturdy shipping crate, I picked up from a job site. Installed some casters so it can be moved around to allow access to stuff in the garage. So far everyone seems to be happy in the new digs.
My Springer Maddy and I love to watch the chickens.
Coop construction will be starting in the near future.I will be posting pictures of the coop construction once under way (Stage 3).
