Yep, it’s fine to lock them all down together and stop turning. Personally, since it’s a 3 day span for the 3 eggs, I’d go on the middle egg’s day 25 and raise humidity that day. One day late for one egg, one day early for one egg.

Although....How big are your air cells? If they are already in the large range, I’d maybe go with the earlier date. If they could use a little more growing, wait another day.

So really it doesn’t matter all that much, given just a 3 day stagger

By the way, you may want to keep candling daily now until then. If you see the air cell start drawing down or any beaks poking/pressing on the membrane, go ahead and lock down at that point.

I have been candling every other day so i am due for candling tonight. The air cells arent super small they are just a bit smaller than they should be. You still think candle every night? I considered pointing a little fan in the incus direction to blow a bit of humidity outta there what do you think?

Yes I would keep candling, just in case. Especially if you wait an extra day to raise humidity. I’m not sure if a fan will make much difference, but I don’t suppose it can hurt. Might make the heater work a little harder, but shouldn’t be too bad.

I read someones post on here that they put a fan at the vent level of their incubator and it worked to pull out humidity. But every enviornment and setup is different so who knows if itll work! Worth a shot! Ill continue to candle daily. Thank you!

I know, i was going to note that Candling photos is def a talent i havent perfected yet lol. Imo theyre still a bit small from what ive seen they should be so i am trying to lower humidity. The fan idea didnt work for me with my setup!

Do you have any suggestion for what I should shoot for humidity wise for the next 3.5 days until lockdown to try to increase air cell size? It was running a good 55% until last night I put a smaller dish in and lowered it to about 46% should it be lower than this since I only have a few days left??

I wouldn’t drop it totally down, 40ish should be fine.
Have you been running 50%+ the whole time? It’s getting pretty late to do much more now. But if you feel comfortable trying, I have taken a sponge, dampened with very warm water, and squeezed almost dry, and rubbed some of the bloom off the eggs. (Happens often with Call ducks, irregular moisture loss). I’ve misted the eggs periodically also, theory is that as the moisture dries, it also pulls more from the inside out. Opens a few pores to release some. This is usually not recommended past the final 4 days though. Pekins worry me a little about being too large to hatch, if their air cells aren’t big enough.
