Stall dry

Does anyone use this in their brooders or their coop? TSC uses it in their brooders so I grabbed a bag of it today but wanted to see if others use it before I start to use it.

I sprinkle it around in my coops and spread in my runs when they're wet and smelly.

I contacted Stall Dry to be sure this was safe. I use it in my horses stall and in some of my brooders. I do plan on using it in the coops too!

I looked at the stuff when I was in TSC the other day. I read the ingredients. It says it is mostly DE, and clay.

I was wondering if that was good to use until my feed store gets the DE they ordered in.

It's great. I use it whenever the run gets muddy/smelly and I use it as part of deep litter-ish method. ('ish" because I dont really follow the rules exactly . . .)

Yep I have used Stall dry on everything in coops, brooders and runs without a problem. Used it for the last five years and its great stuff!

Works great in my coop too! I haven't tried it in the run yet. But, I was told it's great in the run too.

We use it too! A LOT easier than finding food grade DE in this area!
