He studies the strange object and flares his tail







He looks at one end




Then the other




Slaps his wattles against it











Does a little dance




Gives it a good pinch






Picks it up and flares his tail again





Sling it around






Slap it on the ground a few times








Throw it around




Does another dance






And proceeds to swallow it whole











He's da Man!

No, he doesn't choke. And he's all over the place. Up. Down. All around. I can't get a good video and keep him in frame. He looks like a black UFO darting across dead grass.

Wow! Great photos! He reminds me of a kingfisher slapping a fish a few times before swallowing it. But Stan has a kingfisher beat for size of the food item. Amazing it fit in his crop but then again he is the Big Roo. UFO or Veloci-raptor???
