Stan the Man will crow no more

I loved reading about Stan's adventures and seeing his beautiful photos. It breaks my heart to hear that he is gone. I am so sorry for your loss.

I hope that you and Stan's girls are hanging in there. You are not alone. So many of us here at BYC miss him too!

Take care and hugs...

RIP, STAN THE MAN
ALL YOUR LADIES AND ALL YOUR ADMIRERS WILL TRUELY MISS YOU
Even though he was not my rooster, I, too, like most every other BYC member, loved Stan the Man. It saddens me to have to say goodbye. I am assuming everyone else feels the same way. I made this mere little memorial to him; as a memorial to a brave and wonderful rooster. I feel that I am not alone in saying this. I feel that I am not alone in tearfully saying... goodbye, dear Stan the Man. May you rest in peace. I am sure, wherever you are, you are in a better place, now. :hit
NO!!! NOT STAN!!!! :hit chickefan4life, what a wonderful memorial to a great rooster! He was the "peoples rooster". old chick, my heart goes out to you for your HUGE loss. We all will miss Stan, sometimes life just sucks! :hugs :hit :love

This is so sad, and very shocking for you. He was a bonzer rooster, and greatly loved.

aw **** OldChick... NONONO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in tears for you and for Stan. I feel so horrible for you both. Stan was so truely loved by you, and so cherished by us all. I feel your pain and heartbreak. What is 'Bird going to do without him now to keep up his manlyness? I wish I could come out there and just find what got him. I am sure you will get what ever it was, as I am sure you know it will be back for more. How are the rest of the girls taking it?

The way he killed entire pieces of bread, they way he showed the girls how to eat your fried chicken mistakes.... He will always be a legand here on BYC. always....

I take comfort in the fact that our last moments together were happy. I gave him a peeled hard boiled egg. He did his happy dance and his usual food killing antics. I laughed and told him as soon as the camera came back from the shop I'd get more pictures. We high-fived and parted company.
