Standard and Bantam silkies

Hi I am new to byc My coup is just now open for business. Over the weekend my hubby picked up 6 one year old red star they are great and my kids are loving our new fresh eggs. I also have 6 two week old red pellets from tsc.(they will go outside in a few weeks) Me being a pet lover of all kinds want to add cute cuddly silkies bantams. My coop is plenty big to accommodate but hubby says no to adding bantams the big girls will pick on little girls is this true or is OK for me to add 3 silkies beauty's to my flock
