All look like pullets, except possibly the darker colored Partridge one. Can you get a picture of the chest? Here are my Partridge Brahmas, pullet and cockerel at 4.5 weeks of age showing off the difference of the sexes of the variety. Males get darker chests feathers while the females exhibit clear pencilling. Even the males get some pencilled feathers at first, but gradually the dark, solid colors take over.![]()
I'm glad you chimed in! Thanks for the comparison pics of your Brahmas - that's very helpful. The darker partridge is the one that I was most concerned about along the way. Since both of the partridges feathered differently, I was constantly comparing them. Also, of all 4, this is the one whose personality seems most cockerel-ish to me. My partridges' chest feathers did come in similar to yours. But I'm really hoping lack of comb development at 7 weeks indicates it is a female...?

Sorry - pics are blurry, but that's what I have on hand right now. The partridge in question has always been darker (more brown) than the other one (more red). Thanks for your help. I can try to get better pics if necessary?
