is there a intrest this year on buying standard silkie eggs?? we have better roosters, and my year old gals are laying like crazy. getting a TON of eggs. but i have hatched as many as i want to this year and hate to waste these eggs :)

let me know if there is a interest and ill post a few dozen to sell

oh, btw my hens are weighing around 7 lbs from the yearling pen, all my hens are white, cept for 2 that are blue, and i have roo that is white and a silver roo weighing about 6 lbs.

these are 3rd gen, and combs are looking amazing, as is the feathering on the legs.

we love our girls!

i did go ahead and post a buy it now listing for eggs. i dont want these to sit and go to waste..

i have a bunch of broody hens that are hatching these lil cuties lol

I'm excited to have found this post! I have always liked the fluffy look of silkies, but I don't care for bantams or the eyeless marshmallow faces of the common bearded variety. I like to be able to see a chicken's face, especially if it has blue earlobes

. Your birds are beautiful! Will you still be working on these a few years from now? I wish I could get some now but we currently live in an apartment lol
