Standard vs banties

I just went through the same dilemma, Rosebud. After MANY hours of research, I'm going with Bantam Cochins (black, silver laced, and gold laced) which I will be receiving from Ideal Hatchery on the 22nd. I only got 8 of them. And since I really wanted something to go with my cochins, I decided to buy some silkie eggs to hatch...6 of those, which I should receive this Saturday. I had originally planned on getting bantam orpingtons, but wasn't going to be able to get EGGS til next spring...and I'm tooooo anxious to wait that long! But I will probably go ahead and get some next year anyway. With this mix, I'm guaranteed a flock of very friendly egg layers. Good luck with whatever breed(s) you choose.
