Ella checked her comm system "No messages for the Endurance" She called to Roger. She flicked through a few screens, making sure that everything was set up for their delivery business. Roger grinned "Then we are staying here for a couple of days, I want to check out this town, and check on Auntie before we go anywhere else." He called back, checking the engines and supplies to be ready to leave when and if necessary. The next morning Ella and Roger left their ship, headed to their Aunt Leila's ranch.
Elle and Roger set off to return to their ship after spending time with their aunt's place. Elle was already ready to return to space, even without a job lined up. Roger liked being on the planet, though he would never leave his sister until she got married to someone she loved.
Ella and Roger returned to their ship and checked for messages, finding one they took off in their ship, heading out into space. Elle and Roger finished their delivery job and headed back to Centauria and went to the city. Once in the city they separated to go shopping. Elle looked for a toolbox like the one Casey had shown them as a birthday present for Roger. Roger looked for something to give Ella for their birthday. Neither was succesful and returned to their ship. They had another delivery job and soon set off to fulfill it.
A distress call came through on the dashboard of the ship. Ella answered "This is Captain Ella of the Endurance, can you hear me?" She looked up when Roger came in and nodded to the controls. Roger finished loading and closed the hatch. He made his way to the bridge and got the ship ready to go. He glanced to Ella, listening to the call. They set off following the signal. Ella continued to try to communicate with the sender.
The source of the distress call that Ella and Roger had picked up was a damaged ship just outside the borders. It was marked as a Kagetora ship; while the dash stated that it was in commission, the passengers were not responding. Ella scanned for signs of life on the ship as they drew alongside of it."Two" Ella said softly, then moved to the teleporter controls as Roger went to use the ships transporter to go to the other ship. Roger looked around the ship, moving to where the life signals were "Hello" He called out, searching for survivors. Ella sat at the controls, ready to transport him back with or without the survivors.
On the ship, the two creatures were gravely wounded. One was an Evymi, and the other was a Kagetora.
Roger sent the information back to Ella to transport the two back to their ship. Ella transported them to the medical bay and searched the star maps to find a healer for the two. "Where do we go?" She asked herself as she searched the maps. Roger was busy patching the two up to the best of his ability. Ella noticed a ship nearby and called out to them "Evymi ship, this is the Endurance, please respond." The captain responded and Ella smiled "We have injured on board and need a healer for them." The captain gave Ella and Roger permission to teleport the injured passengers onto the ship. They were asked to dock and teleport aboard, as well. Ella teleported the injured and docked with the other ship. She waited for Roger to join her before teleporting to the other ship's med bay, Maele was there watching them. Ella and Roger stood together quietly for a moment "We found them on a damaged ship, but we do not have a healer" Ella said, watching Meale "I am Captain Ella and this is Roger" She introduced herself and her brother.
They took a look, their face darkening at the markers, but they were taken to be healed. Maele nodded, "Thank you... Centaurians correct?" "Yes" Ella said and smiled, she never corected anyone on the assumtion. Roger nodded, staying quiet "Good people.. If you wish you may eat with us." "We must go now, still have to deliver our cargo." Ella said with a touch of regret in her voice. Meale nodded and let them return to their ship. Ella and Roger returned to their ship to finish their delivery. Afterwards they cruised around, waiting for another job.
