Yes, but the kind of buddy list i'm talking about is to go STRAIT to their profile without all the searching......... and searching........ and SEARCHING..........................

It isn't all that much searching. Go to search, type in the person's user name and when it brings up their posts click in their pm or email to contact them. It also shows whether their online or not. It doesn't hurt us to have to put out a little effort on our part in this age of instant gratification. I don't know for sure, but I would think the more features we want on the site the more work it is for Nifty and the other mods, and the more likely it is for things to go wrong.

PS, Maybe instead of ranting about a Buddy list we should change it to a auction ?

A buddy system would make it faster to pm someone and see their profile. To talk to them outside of pm you would still type on the forum. Therefore, it would still be a community forum (lol I con't believe I just used therefore in a sentence).
