What day would you start culling bad eggs?

When would be the last day one should candle? As in once an embro is growing, what would the last day it would die. I just don't like candling.

You could start culling eggs after a week, if you are absolutely sure they are not developing/quitters. 10 days is usually a safe day to cull undeveloped eggs, as some are difficult to see much in, even on day 7. Embryos can die at any stage, unfortunately. You can candle as often or not as you prefer. I usually candle on day 7, day 14 and day 18 when I lockdown. It is handy to know what's going on in the eggs, so you can remove any dead ones and monitor fair sac development.

At how many days will an egg explode?
