Great I had amazing good luck with shipped eggs last year (Garry Farm). Did you notice my nifty way to add water without opening the brinsea? That tube is a straight urinary catheter that I threaded through a vent hole and I use a 60cc syringe to add the water ....I ordered a better flashlight to candle so I should be doing it in the next dat or 2.

I did see that! Clever. I usually candle every two or three days because I cannot control myself, so I add water then

Of my 24 eggs, 18 are swimming like little sea monkeys 5 didn't seem to be fertile and 1 had a blood ring.

...my power went out for 29 hrs because of bad snow storm. I know it's a lost cause but I'm gonna wait and candle tonight before I toss them.

e Yay! I hate power outages. The last one I had was during the time I was incubating some ayam cemanis - I was not pleased, lol.

How long was the power out and how was your hatch?...I'm still in shock!

Well, by the time they're as far along as ours are, they are actually producing some of their own heat, and they can survive heat loss much better than when they are younger. Metzer Farms has a good article on it, let me see if I can find it. My hatch was pretty good, only lost one egg.
