Stayed up late throwing together this 4x4 for our 6 pullets since April showers here mean a flooded backyard we can't work on the permanent coop.

Total cost $0
The joys of remodeling our home = coop scraps :p

Any ideas of things I might overlook/miss ??
Planning on a PVC feeder and nesting boxes that come out of the back or side haven't decided yet

You don't want to put your permanent coop where it floods anyway. Take the time now in rainy April to figure out how you can locate or drain a space for your coop.

We are building it on posts so it will be above ground, just can't cement the posts right now. It's like an underwater water source if that makes any sense lol

Nearly finished just needs siding, door on the nest boxes and decide what kind of hen door I want. Not bad for having no plans and less than 24 hours lol
