Starting a breeding flock of ducks

Hey guys, I'm just curious. If I got a dozen ducklings with the intention of breeding them when they got older and they were from all the same person could I breed them without any issues as far as problems with interbreeding? I would start spiral breeding after this but could I do that to start or do I need to get them from two different sources?

Hey there, I would definitely recommend getting new ducks from a different source to make sure there is no chance of them inbreeding...inbred ducks can have deformities or internal problems and some might not hatch at all..so over all yes try get a different bloodline if you intend to breed from them
