Starting a hatch September 21....hatch along?

it means the incubator is closed and not touched from day 18 until all the eggs have hatched.

It can only be opened if you need to refill the water tray or remove hatched and fluffed chicks.
ok thanks for the info

Hello!!! I'm home from my trip.. The eggs look just fine.
I'm going into lock down tonight until the 11th which is when they are to catch. I made sure the water level in the Brinsea Mini Eco was high enough for the next few days.. so we should be good!!!
GEtting EXCITED!
Good luck FarmMomof3. Let us know how they get on. Mine go into lockdown on the 11th so I'm a few days behind.

Help please! I woke up to chicken eggs rocking. Does that mean I need to go into lock down today? Whatever the case, I'm going to have to open it. There is no way there's enough water in the incubator. I think today is Day 17. It could be 18. I'm not sure. They were set on Sunday, September 23 - and I can't remember what time of day I set them, but I'm thinking it may have been in the morning.

It's a Brinsea Mini Advanced. I still need to get that egg turner out.

Thanks!

I took the turner out and went into lockdown.

I hope I didn't go into lockdown too soon. One of them rocked a little bit shortly after I took the turner out. So far, I've seen 4 out of my 5 eggs rocking at some point today.

Exciting!! that your eggs are rocking!

None of my eggs are rocking at all... Hubby keeps hearing pipping going on but since we are in Lock down I can't see! lol They are due to hatch tomorrow. I have really no idea if any of them will actually hatch or not. We candled before we left on Vaca last thursday but our eggs are brown so it was hard to see in.
I guess that if i don't have some sort of movement by Friday I will just turf them?

Anyways... can't wait to see more chicky pics!
