Starting a hatch September 21....hatch along?

FarmMom.... what kind of incubator do you have? I'm guessing if you can't see in, it must not have a window.

We're fortunate, because we can see in. We just can't hatch very many without a lot of work since only one of our incubators has an auto turner. I split them into the two incubators before lockdown. I'm using the incubator on the right for lockdown only. I can't imagine having to remember to turn the eggs.

They're kissing!

I have a Borrowed Brinsea Eco Mini... I can see in, it's just I didn't want to take the cover off off my eggs because we are in lock down mode as well.
but last night we saw a chick trying to hatch and we remembered that we put mo paper down so the chick could stand without slipping, so we put some paper down then replaced the cover. it was off for like 2 minutes max.

I'm about to go into lockdown and the timing must be about right cos my eggs are moving. No pips or chirps but they must be dancing in those eggs.

It IS exciting!! And addictive!!

I have 3 eggs in various degrees of hatching RIGHT NOW! one has a large hole and the little chick is trying with all it's might to get out, another has a smaller hole and all i can see is a tip of a beak.. and the 3rd egg is just pipping now.
The 1st egg has been hatching since last night around dinner time and still isn't out... I'm wondering if the poor chick is just exhausted and isn't able to hatch out anymore... I'm thinking that if this chick isn't out completely by dinner time tonight, that i might give it a little help. Thoughts? or does hatching routinely take 24 hours or so? I'm totally unsure what to do here.

I was expecting a fully hatched out chick this morning and Nadda.
