It's ok to continue candling them until you get your first pip. If you can still see some blood vessels, then they probably aren't ready. That first stage of hatch is when they internal pip. You would see a beak moving around in the air sac. How many eggs are there? What day did you set them?the air sac is dark. i can see some blood vessels i suppose,, one pretty big one on the best egg.. is it ok to candle them often? i check about every 2 days to see if theyre moving. they still are!
Yes, the first thing you will see without candling is a tiny set of cracks. They pip into the air sac, and then they pip the shell appearing as a small set of cracks. (is that normal?)
Waiting is the hardest part, hahaha. They can easily take up to 24 hours to hatch, sometimes longer.waiting, waiting......i can see a little beak poking thru now.

It's a range, the fastest I've ever had a chick hatch is 3 hours, the slowest (and still surviving) took about 36 hours. Usually they take between 12-20 hours. If they still aren't out after 24 hours, I access the situation and determine whether or not I need to help.oh my goodness!!!!!i hope not! haha
