Starting a hatch September 21....hatch along?

Lockdown starts for me in 2 hours! I candled last night, 11 eggs are still viable, out of the original 21.

There's one weird egg- a very big leghorn egg. The baby is roughly the same size as the other babies in other (far smaller) eggs, but there's a LOT of extra space in there. Could it hatch later than the others if there's so much extra yolk in there?

Good luck!

I have 1 weird egg, too. We think it is a Salmon Fav x Silkie. The egg is much larger than all the other Silkie eggs, and the embryo, just before lock-down was way smaller than the egg. But, it was wiggling away, so we're hoping for the best.

#9 is zipped/zipping. #8 seems to be taking a break, but, has a made a good sized hole in the side of the egg. LB2 (which is the same egg that has the weird air sac) hasn't made any progress, but, I'm trying to be patient. The chick from #6 is keeping the eggs that are due next week warm. Sleeping on top of them.

The chick from Leghorn egg #9 is here!

Leghorn egg #8 is working hard. LB2 is still resting. The chick from #9 kicked the first chick off its perch (on top of the eggs that are due next week) and is sleeping on top of its future playmates.

Locked down! I think I'll just move my bed next to the bator, and grab a fridge, cause I'm sticking next to that bator until I get babies! Not... Moving...at... All... *glues nose to incubator window*

Sorry but if there is extra sapce, I can say with a lot of confidence that it probably won't make it. If it attempts to pip internally with it's siblings, it will drown in the extra fluids.... I learned that the hard way. But lets hope for the best.

Congrats to those of you have chicks now!

Thanks... It was my own fault... I wanted to take the fluffed chicks out because they were just hopping everywhere and knocking the other un hatched eggs around kinda hard... but i shrink wrapped the poor little guy in the egg. but my 3 fluffy chicks are doing well. The other eggs that didn't hatch were duds... i just wasn't sure what i was looking at when i candled (they were brown eggs) and i didn't want to take them out if they would turn into chicks.

Our Bator was next to our bed on my dresser! The noise from the chicks trying to hatch out and chirping kept waking me up.. lol

OH! and good news... We are getting a Brinsea Octagon 20 next week!! (with turning tray) i can't wait!!!
I have lots of people asking for chicks for their own use and others asking us to incubate for them we can't afford the giant 200 eggs bator... but the octagon 20 seems up our alley for now! I can't wait!

HELP! Did I mess up big time? Yes... I admit, I'm a newbie. This is my first time so I think I may have made a very bad rookie mistake.

OK... incubator just moved to 1 day left. Still no movement since lockdown. They were moving all over the place prior to lockdown at day 17. Shortly after lockdown all movement stopped. No pips. Nothing.

I put 9 layers of paper towel down on the floor of the incubator for it to be comfortable for the chicks easier to stand up when the chicks hatched. Did I mess up my humidity? I have a Brinsea ECO and a Brinsea Advanced. I have no way to measure humidity in it.

DH thinks we should run the shower in the bathroom, get it warm and steamy, take the incubators in there and get all but 1 layer of paper towel out ASAP. Should we? He's in the bathroom right now running the shower... please respond quickly.
